MY JOURNEY INTO UX!
Growing up I was always told that failure should never be an option. In my own act of rebellion I chose a career wherein, through rounds of user testing and iteration, failure is almost necessary to arrive at the perfect solution.
I earned my BFA in Graphic Design from Parsons School of Design. In my sophomore year I discovered UX design and was immediately drawn the research driven processes, which added a dimension of objectivity and measurable impact to my visual design skills. No more grueling design critiques now that I had data to support my choices! (just kidding, that never changed) 😉
I'm currently working as a product designer at Motional which is a Hyundai & Aptiv self-driving car venture. Before this I worked at Wayfair as well as early stage design & tech startups.
With my foundation in graphic design, I am particularly interested in the balance between aesthetics and functionality in the digital space.
HELLO THERE
Animal Rescue
I grew up with 4 rescued cats and a dog, and even cared for a little kite once! Forming a bond with animals taught me more about empathy than any design course I have taken.
