The Basics 📝
I'm a product designer, currently in the autonomous vehicle space at Motional. I started off my journey as a fine artist and moved on to graphic design seeing as the world is becoming increasingly digital. I then discovered UX design in my sophomore year of college and was immediately drawn to it. The emphasis on research and insight-driven processes added a layer of objectivity and measurable impact to visual design, allowing me to ground design decisions in empathy rather than my own assumptions and biases.
Growing up in India, I come from a culture where failure is very rarely tolerated. In my own act of rebellion I chose a field wherein, through rounds of user-testing and iteration, failure seems almost necessary to arrive at a successful solution.
In my free time, I love making art (Check out my work here🎨). I also really enjoy traveling, and singing along to YouTube karaokes when no one's around!

I'm currently a product designer at Motional which is a Hyundai & Aptiv self-driving car venture. Prior to this I worked at Wayfair as well as early stage design & tech startups.
With a BFA in communication Design from Parsons School of design, I am particularly interested in the balance between aesthetics and functionality in the digital space.
